Hommes is an exhibition space for contemporary art in the southern part of Rotterdam. This area is a cultural hotbed, with more then 200 young, most international artists living and working. We offer a platform for debuting young artists or artists who work on their personal and proffessional development. Some of the presentations are about urban  issues. At least 50 % of the presenting artists is woman. Besides space for exhibitions and meetings  we have art in stock for sale and a small espresso bar. There is a reading-table with catalogues and articles on art and related topics.

Stichting Hommes Foundation is founded in 2007 and supporting these initiatives. This foundation is responsable for the financial needs and the volunteers who do all the work.
