Giuseppe Licari

Giuseppe Licari (Erice, Italy 1980) studied in the Monumental department of the AKI in Enschede before completing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.  His work is orientated towards installations and art in the social field. In 2007 he moved to Rotterdam. Sicily, his native place, is often a source of inspiration. In his work he uses different materials trough particular reference to nature. He focuses on space and communicates through ironic and popular means, intending to give his audience an active role in his work.
