As from 1 September the Hommes Foundation offers two Artist in Residences, situated next to the exhibitionspace. The residencies are meant for foreign artists, who want to live and work in Rotterdam for a period of minimum half a year up to maximum a year. In the Old - Charlois district they have the opportunity to cooperate with a vivid and young artist community and with other residents. The volunteers of the foundation offer their support to the artist to realise the artistical ambitions in this period.

The studios are recently renovated, fully furnished and measure each 60 m2. Both equipped with a shower, toilet, kitchen, bedroom, heating and internet connection.

The rent per 1 Januari 2011 is € 425 (first floor) and € 450 (second floor). All the costs for energy, heating, furnishing, assurance and internet are included. De studio's are occupied untill 1 May 2011.

Artists who are interested for a residence there after, are invited to apply untill 1 Februari 2011, by sending their CV, their motivation and the project they want to work on during their residency, to info@hommes.nl.  The selection will be in Februari 2011.
